the story
Peacock Song
Peacock Song honours the grace and quiet grandeur of Sri Lanka's national bird. Adorned with a hand-drawn peacock, the piece recalls the beauty of traditional batik, temple murals, and treasured objects collected over time. Both functional and decorative, it brings colour, heritage, and artistry into the everyday rituals of the home.
Storage Jar. Stoneware. L 14 × W 14 × H 13 cm.
Each Maison Sheli piece is hand-painted or finished with care, meaning small variations in colour, brushwork, and finish may occur. These details are part of the character of the piece and make each item quietly unique.
Microwave & dishwasher safe. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Subtle variations in glaze are part of the handmade process.
